Chris Jackson

BA Hons Furniture and Product Design, Notingham Trent University

  
Teaching and research interests:

Chris Jackson is a lecturer in the Industrial Design Programme within the College of Creative Arts. Chris is interested in the relationship between design and manufacture, resulting in practical, intelligent objects. He has a keen interest in sustainable initiatives, and organised and curated the double award winning exhibition, 'Ten' at 100% Design in the UK, which is an ongoing project.  

 

Chris' working practice has seen him collaborate with leading and up-and-coming companies and designers, including Habitat, Marset (Spain), Dark (Belguim), Norman Foster Associates, 100% Design and The Guardian. He has won numerous competitions and awards for his work, much of which has been published extensively worldwide.
