Teaching and research interests:

In recent years most of Clarie's research has been carried out in the context of the New Zealand SME Research Centre. She has led a number of teams in work with the government agencies that are at the forefront of enterprise development and economic transformation. This focus can be seen in many of the projects that the centre has completed, which include contributions to some of the topics that are of primary concern to policymakers today. She is President of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ), and Senior Vice President of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB).
